Finally!

I got nominated numerous times with this Liebster Award. For those who nominated me, thank you so much. I was touch that there are bloggers who noticed me. I started blogging since 2009, but I posted hard issues before. It was politics, and I got bored with my own posts. Lol

My two blogger friends encouraged me to start blogging again. I started last March 2012. I got excited every now and then, and got new followers.

Sam, which blog I am really fond of, nominated me with this Liebster Award. There are thousand fashion blogs in blogosphere, but her posts have content, not just narcissistic photos. Click HERE for her blog.

The Liebster Award is given by fellow bloggers to up and coming bloggers who have less than 200 followers.  The meaning of Liebster is German and means sweetest, kindest, nicest, beloved, lovely, kind, pleasant, valued, cute, endearing, and welcome.

QUESTIONS FROM SAM

1.    Where does your blog name came from?

I love to answer this question. Phioxee is my online name. I got it from a college classmate. I search it online, and all searches are all about me. 

2.    Where do you get your outfit inspiration?

I am a bubbly person. I love the sun, so I am more comfortable with sunny dresses and bright colors.

3.    What is your beauty routine?

Oh! I don’t like to have a beauty routine, but I visit a saloon twice a month for my hair, once a week for my nails, and quarterly for my hmmm armpit?! Yes, for my armpit. That’s a sacred part. Lol 

4.    What is your favorite store to shop?

I don’t have any in particular. I just love to window shop. 

5.    Who is your fashion icon?

I love Blair Waldorf of Gossip Girls, but I like Leighton Meester’s personality. 

6.    What makes you happy?
Money. To mention a few, I am happy when I am eating with family, singing with friends, watching people dance (coz I don’t), and to party. These all requires money.

7. What makes you fabulous? 

A positive vibe makes a person fabulous. A simple outfit can be fabulous if you carry it well with a smile.

 
8. What is your ideal vacation spot?

Santorini, Greece. This is actually hard to answer. I love nature, love beach, love outing, and even a simple hang out at home with friends.

9. Home cooked food or take out?
Both. ;-) I do not know how to cook, so I do take out.

10. Are you an early riser or late night owl?

 An early riser. I always love breakfast. The talks and the smiles every morning.

11. What are you most looking forward to in the next year?

I'd like to visit Places abroad. Write more blog posts. Hopefully, MARRY.

I'd like to pass this award, but I've read some posts that instead of thanking those bloggers who nominated them, they got insulted. I don't want to be misunderstood by anyone. There are awesome bloggers whose blogs are worth our time, yet they got few followers. They're not pro-bloggers and they use blog as their personal online diaries. I salute them for that. They're actually my inspiration in posting more on my blog.


I tried to reach out those bloggers I wanted to nominate, but I haven't got their replies, so I decided not to nominate one. I'm planning to add a Blog Roll here, but I have to get enough time for that. Editing this blog is such a painstaking task for me (oa mode). Again, thank you so much Sam.
