Ocean 24 Resort - Let's Get Hot!

Yes! You're thinking right! I literally meant HOT. Since the weather is starting to get cold, swimming activities are no longer our options to spend out getaways with friends and families. Mostly, we do indoor parties and hang outs. 

There are two swimming pools - adult and kiddie pools.

 

The weather here is quite cold and windy. I shiver everytime I went out of the pool.

The air is humid and saturated. Look at that damp hair. errr

But no way! We have thermal spas and baths as our options. Among places in the Philippines, Negros Oriental is blessed with one. A Geothermal plant is located nearby. The place is safe and away from the hazardous chemical steam from the nearby plant.

I stiched these three photos to give you all the information ;-)

It was one beautiful (about to rain) Sunday, when the four of us went to visit Ocean 24 Hot Spring. It's a swimming pool developed to provide a very good thermal bath. It is in Caidiocan, Valencia, Negros Oriental. That's 26 km away from Dumaguete City, Philippines. Click HERE to know the place. I bet few of you guys who have been to a thermal swimming pool. Jacuzzi is no way to compare to a big thermal pool like Ocean 24 Resort. 

Shall I tour you around the place? The resort is not quite WELL-developed, but it's promising. Better be here while the entrance fee is cheap, right?! ;-)

There's no need for a swimming suit, because the pool is not chlorinated. It's also clean, because the water i's from a mountain spring. It's free flowing from the source to the pool and exit to the river.

It was raining the whole afternoon. We opted to stay under the swimming pool, and talked anything under the SUN? no under the rain. ;-) We're all talkative and hilarious, so boredom has no place.

The resort's cottages are named after signature brands.

We're actually hungry. We finished what was left from our lunch. We're so cold as well.

We're about to leave, so I took photos for my facebook friends.

The water is really hot, but not boiling. The first time you try to submerge, the water may be a little bit scalding. The cold weather is actually perfect if you visit Ocean 24 Resort. If ever you prefer summer days, I strongly suggest that you go there in the afternoon.
