Antulang Beach Resort - Wedding Bells

Excitement knocks me down when a friend invited us on her wedding day in Antulang Beach Resort. The place is one of the best resorts in Dumaguete that provides world-class services and amenities. Filipino stars like Ryan Agoncillo got engaged with Judy Ann Santos in Antulang Beach Resort. Though it's my second time here, the fun and excitement are still the same. If you are interested to check out Antulang's "How to get there" info, check my post about Antulang Beach Resort - Super Fun DayTour.
The wedding

Antulang Beach Resort for Wedding Venue
The wedding started at 5:00 PM, so we rented a 10-seater Van, and traveled an hour from Dumaguete City (McDonalds) to Siaton, Negros Oriental. From the highway, we entered a junction heading to the resort. It took take an hour before we got off from that winding road. Upon arriving, we immediately checked in at the lobby and visited our friend - the bride - on their rented villa.

Pool Villa

Their private villa was overlooking the sea. With Victorian vintage designs, it also has a private pool that's really suitable for couples under honeymoon.

It was about 4:00 PM, and the bride was almost ready. She had to do some prenup pictorials, so we decided to leave her and ready ourselves. Around 4:45 PM, almost everybody was ready to witness the wedding.

The flowers have been neatly placed all around the venue. The tables were covered with white cloths and decorated with red flowers. The ambiance was so romantic. The atmosphere exudes serenity and solemnity of the upcoming wedding ceremony.

The ceremony was held near the swimming pool surrounded by chairs for guests. The wedding's motif was bohemian inspired, so everything has touches of nature. The weather was so perfect, and the friendly sun was smiling across the sky.

At exactly 5:00 PM, the 50 guests invited by the groom and bride to witness their vow gathered near the poolside. Everyone was overwhelmed with the solemnity of the place. The wedding entourage started to march down the isle. Red was the color of the motif. It seemed to intensify the romantic feeling everyone was having at that time.

At last, the bride was on her way fetched by a golf cart. She was like a goddess riding her carousel. She was one of the most beautiful brides in weddings I attended.

The bohemian look added drama and beauty on her face. When she was walking in the isle, she was breathtaking. The wind was blowing her lovely wedding dress as she gracefully walked towards her groom.

so romantic

It was like watching a romantic scene in TV series. You would really fall in love with the two. They're actually both good-looking.

The Bride and Groom
The ceremony took an hour, and orange started to color the sky. Sunset started to appear from the horizon. The beautiful sun seemed to fade away subtly wishing the newly wed a happy prosperous life with each other. And finally, the sentimental moment of saying I DO’s happened. I felt so emotional, but I kept it to myself and smiled the whole time.

Newly wed couple

Everyone settled after an introduction of the newly wed couple. I was so touched when the Bestman was teary-eyed giving his speech for his brother and new sister-in-law.

Uh! tears of joy
The groom is a British National, while the bride is a Filipina. They met and fall in love in Thailand and spent two years together before they tie the knot.

The food was superb, especially, the seafood and lechon. While everyone was eating, “Banda Manga” was playing in the background.

Our friends also delivered their surprise dance presentation, which really entertained everybody. Each of the guests had their Sky Lanterns to send out well wishes for the newly-wed couple.

With overjoyed hearts, we bid goodbye to the couple. It was around 8:00 PM, and Manong driver was waiting patiently outside the resort.
