Sta. Catalina - Out of Town with Friends

We went to Sta. Catalina to escape from the hassles and bustles of the city. It’s a first-class municipality of Negros Oriental province in the Philippines. The specific outing destination is a friend’s native rest house in Mansanagan, Kabulacan, Sta. Catalina. Thanks a lot Sam for the invitation and the ride! Lemme show how relaxing the short vacay we had.
We chose a night trip for a better and exciting experience. Electricity is not yet available in the area, so flashlights and emergency lights are a must. We were laughing and joking all throughout the trip. We reached the place and it's so damn scary.
Top to Bottom: Vonnaliza, Hearty, Jean, and Phioxee
the girls are so ready - ready to sleep
Bacteria, Mario, and Sam (our host)
There's no moonlight and nothing but lights from our flashlights. I couldn't imagine the place, and I started to be anxious. I remained quiet until we settle down. Some of my friends were joking about some horror stories that may happen to us. Such a bad joke!

of course! this is fake sleep. I wouldn't dare posting my ugly sleeping face here lol

The house is a combination of a concrete and native materials. It's not yet fully done, and has only one room. We laid out our mat and pillows 'coz the two-hour drive was quite exhausting. It shouldn't be two hours, but Sam wanted to enjoy the drive and it took us two hours to reach the place.

The next morning, we had breakfast and started exploring the area. I was really amazed with the beautiful sceneries. I also realized that we're on a hillside.
Exploring the area, I found out that there's a nearby spring. Apart from not getting an electricity, water supply from district is not also available. But I tell you, we enjoy the bathe in the spring.
I'm sorry for the blurry phone pix. The spring water is deposited in that small concreted holes
We went to the nearby waterfalls, and enjoy the entire day. I tell you more about that waterfalls on my next post. Till here!

Just me,
Phioxee
